The calculator gives you a budget range to help you plan. It allows for labour, setup, travel, materials, consumables and some unexpected costs. We check the details before giving you a written quote.

What changes the price?

The price depends on the amount of work, surface condition, access, travel, materials and preparation. Painting and patching may require a return visit for drying. Price ranges are valid for seven days and must be checked against the agreed job.

Materials

For selected materials, we use recorded Bunnings New Zealand retail prices and allow for full packs and some waste. These prices do not guarantee stock at your local store. Other materials have an estimated allowance, which we confirm before quoting. We are not affiliated with Bunnings.

GST

All displayed estimates include 15% GST. Quotes and invoices are issued by SWEET PETALS LIMITED (NZBN 9429041473481). The written quote confirms the total payable and agreed scope.

When an inspection comes first

We need to assess decks, fences and kitchen or bathroom updates before quoting. We also review jobs where the condition is unknown, travel is outside our usual area, or there are leaks or potentially hazardous materials. Electrical, plumbing and restricted building work require appropriately qualified trades.

Inspection requests

Let us know which date and time suit you. We will confirm availability and tell you about any inspection fee before you agree to a visit. Times are local to Auckland. You do not pay through this website.
